The film pays homage to the revitalization of the art of poetry in the Polish language in the second half of the 20th century. It visual style is based on underground publications in Poland in the 1970s and 1980’s, known as Bibula. Frameworks Animation Award – funded by RTÉ/ Irish Film Board/Arts Council.

This film was made in collaboration with filmmaker/animator Orla Mc Hardy.
It is based on my poem, Wax Ear, part of a series of seven line poems called “Milagros + Retablos. The last line in the poem is from Russell Hoban’s novel Riddley Walker, the whole of which is written in an invented dialect. Screened at the Belfast Film Festival, Galway Film Fleadh and arts festivals throughout Ireland as part of the 15 Second Film Festival.
